Wayne Radio amateur Emergency Team (WRAET) will be conducting a simplex drill.
Wayne Radio Amateur Emergency Team will be conducting their second drill, for EmComms. Participants in this drill will test the ability to communicate using simplex frequencies from different key locations in Wayne, NJ (in Passaic County) as part of a drill sponsored by Wayne OEM (Office of Emergency Management).
- Date: 03/23/2019
- Time: 10:00am - 02:00pm (may run for less time)
- Where: Meeting for the drill briefing will be conducted in front of Wayne Municipal Building at 475 Valley Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470
- Requirements: Maximum power is 10 watts on the 2 meter band. Bring a 2-meter band HT or a Mobile radio that is field programmable. Frequencies and operating location will be given on the briefing drill. External Antennas are encouraged to have (mag mounts, or the like)
